The first power plant using ThermoDeg technology will be built in the Hungarian factory of the Henkel group of companies

On behalf of the Henkel group of companies, the declaration of intent was signed on the establishment of the first mini power plant using ThermoDeg technology.



On May 2, 2023, the Henkel group of companies signed the letter of intent, thanks to which the first community mini-power plant will be built for the Henkel factory located in the Tata industrial park.
The mini power plant suitable for the processing of 2,000 tons of plastic waste per year, of which approx. can to produce 6,500 MWh of electricity per year and can to provide 25,700 MJ of thermal energy, which their factory takes over and integrates into its production processes.

The Henkel group of companies is extremely optimistic and explained in its statement that if the small power plant fulfills the agreed waste processing and energy production parameters, they are interested in integrating the ThermoDeg small power plants into production processes in their 24 factories located in CentralEurope.
